ZELGADIS has a unique and impressive pedigree, blending a great sire stack with an exceptional maternal line, designed to deliver long lasting cows that produce large volumes of high quality milk.  The cow that has put this family on the global map is ZELGADIS’s grand dam: she is an awesome JUROR daughter, still on the farm after 10 lactations scored EX.  Despite never flushing, she has three outstanding daughters, notably Domenica, the VG-88 dam of ZELGADIS and Gemona, a VG-86 Merchant, dam of KAIMURAT. Domenica was a beautiful Aaron daughter, with a rare strength and width for an Aaron daughter. She had a wide muzzle that expressed all her power and will to produce large volumes of milk.

ZELGADIS daughters are very strong, long and tall cows that will remind you of his dam. They have perfect rumps with good width that creates enough space for their balanced udders. They have tight fore udders and high rear udders. These animals impress for how they walk in the barn, they have nearly perfect legs with very tall and strong hocks.

ZELGADIS can be used on daughters of: BOLTON, ALTON, PIPPEN, BURT, MORRIE,  SHOTTLE, GRANDVIEW, JAMMER, GARRISON and will also cross well on Jocko and Ford blood.

dam: Whittier-Farms Outside Roz EX-95, 1st 4-year-old and HM Sr. Champion NY Spring Show 2007

REVAMP comes from Whittier Farms in the New England state of Massachusetts. The dam of REVAMP, Outside Roz placed the family on the map in the Spring of 2007 by being tapped as the 1st place 5 year old @ the strong NY Spring Show. This crowd favorite developed into a tremendous brood cow as well with 4 EX and 8 VG daughters of which 2 EX & 5 VG daughters are full sisters to REVAMP. The family knows how to be profitable on a daily basis as well with 5 consecutive generations of over 100,000 lifetime milk. Members of this family have spread across the US, into Canada and across the water to Europe.

REVAMP daughters stand out with their stylish frames and hard toplines. They excel in stature and are long from head to tail while sharing a balance of strength and openness.  However, they need to be protected for width. The daughters have a moderately flat bone and track extremely straight from behind with a nearly ideal set to the leg. REVAMP daughters have nicely shaped udders that are very shallow and well-attached. Their rear udders are above average for height and develop more width with maturity. Fore udders could use more length, but are snugly attached and have nice veining. This bull will also bring the teats closer and strengthen the cleft.

REVAMP will cross well on milking daughters of AVALANCHE, BARRICK, BOLIVER, BOLTON, DEANO, DIE-HARD, FABRIZIO, FREDERICK, GABE, GRANDVIEW, HAMEL, MANAGER, MALIN, MATSON, MIDSTAR, MISSION, OZFEST, PETER, ROY, SHOTTLE and TOUCHDOWN.

Stay tuned for more insight on our new release sires!
